UCA's End of Year Show

 These are some photographs from the USA End of Year Show. I went over there to take a look at some of the work from there students so that i could compare the standard to my own as they are taking the same level class as me. I thought everything was really professionally presented and looked like a art gallery. There were some really impressive pieces of work and it was a really nice show.

My Olympic Posters

Here are my posters for an Olympic Competition. Firstly i had to come up with a slogan, something to base my imagery around. I came up with 'Give everything you've got or all you'll have is regret'. My first illustration i made is of a running track seen through the eyes of a runner and the words are printed onto the track like the lanes and numbers. My second design has the words being shot out from a firing pistol.

Narrative Project final illustrations

Here are my final illustrations for my Narrative project. I chose to base mine around the Poem by Edward Lear, The Owl And The Pussycat. I drew inspiration from artist Thao Lam who creates images of things usings mixed media. I wanted mine to look a bit more like patchworks so i have only used different pieces of material. I am really pleased with the way all of these have come out and i think they are some of my best pieces of work this year.
